Hi my name is Mark Olson, Founder and President of SWi Fence. I have been installing fences for over 28 years.
Seven years ago, my brother and I founded SWi Fence, establishing our Corporate headquarters in Powell, Wyoming, before expanding into beautiful St. Augustine, Florida.
We have earned a reputation of excellence with our customers across the country, no matter where they're located.
Mark and Carl started out by building a few small fences for neighbors and friends while Carl pursued a journeyman electrician license and Mark studied architectural engineering at the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming. In January 2002, Mark and Carl decided to make their dreams of owning their own business a reality. They began to advertise, and soon the calls were coming in. Initially, Mark worked full-time for the company, while Carl worked part time and kept his job as an electrician. Carl joined the business on a full-time basis in the spring of 2003.
Alan, who worked for the company from the beginning, later moved to Montana, where he started his own business. He recently returned to Powell, Wyoming and merged his North Dakota-based company with his brothers' Wyoming based company.
SWi's diversity has helped the company to thrive and in 2014 moved into our new facility in Powell Wyoming. The company continues to grow throughout Florida, Wyoming, Montana, and North Dakota.
The Olson brothers are proud of their reputation for quality installations and excellent customer service. The company strives to be the leader in the industry with ongoing training and strong professional alliances with contractors and suppliers.
Brothers Mark and Carl Olson founded SWi fencing in 1994 based in Wyoming. Over the next several decades, their hard work and dedication to their customers allowed them to add additional locations across the state of Wyoming, eventually becoming Wyoming's largest and most successful fence company.
More recently, brother Alan Olson joined the SWi family as a co-owner and critical piece of the business, which has allowed SWi to realize their dream of expanding across the U.S. Most recently landing in beautiful St. Augustine, Florida.
